Our Raluca Stanislav, Business Development Manager Skanska Property Romania, shares our thinking about our projects as a speaker during the 11th CEDER Conference.
‘’We see companies looking to respond to the needs of the new generation of employees, the Millennials, by looking for attractive offices and a creative working environment. Skanska is constantly aiming to fill this gap with innovative features and to foresee these needs of flexibility and fast moving of this generation. Our projects offer the premises for a balanced business and private life – sport facilities in the surroundings (Campus 6 - rooftop running track), lots of amenities and services, such as car renting). Moreover, we implement a lot of innovations that makes the employees’ “relationship” with the building easy and friendly: a building app that integrates the access in the building, access in the parking area, ordering food, car sharing and also a huge place making – 7.000 sqm of green areas with social and working spaces.’’ said Raluca.

Skanska has been awarded the contract to build K1 Knightsbridge, a mixed-use project for The Olayan Group worth £141 million. The Olayan Group’s developer for the project is Chelsfield. The scheme will create modern, high-end retail and office space, 35 residential units and a new rooftop restaurant.
Retaining the site’s historic facades is intrinsic to the scheme, modernising the building while keeping it in line with the neighbourhood’s architectural character. The project will create much needed step-free access to Knightsbridge underground station via a new entrance from Hooper’s Court. Construction began in April 2018, with completion due at the end of 2020.
